rewards us for doing right

David in 2 Samuel 22:20-22 reminds me that I should live right before god, doing the things god requires of me so that I can be an example to those who do not believe. this Christian journey is not easy, there are times when it seems temptation gets the best of us, we have to learn to resist it has to be our will to let god’s will rule in our lives. we cannot afford to waist time doing ungodly things. we must be there for each other, when we get weak, help one another through. its about service to others and loving each other. I know I have work to do, how about you? the Lord does reward us for doing right. if we follow in his way, he keeps us safe.

20 He led me to a place of safety;
    he rescued me because he delights in me.
²¹The Lord rewarded me for doing right;
    he restored me because of my innocence.
²²For I have kept the ways of the Lord;
    I have not turned from my God to follow evil.
