AGENDA: Review the Training Notes. By the end of reading this training guide, you will become stronger and wiser than before because you will see the importance of knowing God’s Word, as it pertains His sovereignty and His strength and know the tools necessary to fight the enemy, fight against our flesh, to become better in Christ and know Him and therefore understand and appreciate all grace and mercy, repenting and forgiveness of sins, who we are fighting and how we win by understanding the Word of God.          -no other remedy, cure! 

THE PROBLEM:  

Hosea 4:6 ESV My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

THE RESOLUTION:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:19 ESV

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

TRAINING DURATION: daily, both day and night, 365 or 366 days of the year

OBJECTIVE: Spiritual Growth is God’s requirement

PURPOSE: Become more capable of fighting the enemy with The Word of God, the Authority God has given us as His children: joint heirs, effective prayers, Spiritual Guidance & Awareness…put on the Whole ARMOUR of GOD

FURTHER EXPLANATION OF INTENT: This training is designed in a way that reveals to those who are saints *accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as Savior of our soul, know who and what we fight off, daily…thus, we are saved to bring others to the LIGHT OF CHRIST, but we are ineffective if we fail to study God’s Word.  Hebrews 6: 1-3  The MSG (The Message) “Grow up in Christ” 

SKEPTICAL (s0-called) God-Believers: Some people say the Word is not necessary and you do not have to read it, “the Bible is hard to read,” “I am so busy that I do not have time,” Why read a book that was written by men”  

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS (IF NO SHOW): Joshua 24:15 GOD’S WORD Translation (GW) ¹⁵ But if you don’t want to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Even if you choose the gods your ancestors served on the other side of the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live, my family and I will still serve the Lord.”

To address these comments, I will sum it up to say:

We read the BMV License Manual and take the test in expectation to pass it and become licensed so we are legal and do not subject ourselves to dealing with the police.

We study in school and retain information to get good grades, we even read our Employee Handbook and we make sure we fall aligned with it to avoid termination and understand our rights as an employee,

We read and follow MapQuest and Google Maps to get to destinations we have never been to or ones we forgot some parts of the directions,

We read cooking instructions to make sure we get the end result to look like the box and we want it to be edible and taste good, we obey traffic signals and traffic officials,

We read MediaTakeOut, WorldStarHipHop, TMZ, News – all to find out what’s going on

We even read and respond to texts…why is it hard to read and follow God’s Word?  We are lazy, lackadaisical!  We simply DO NOT WANT TO LEARN ABOUT OBEDIENCE AND SUBMISSION TO GOD’S HOLY WAY OF LIFE

We just know what we know and do not want to grow, but we want God to give us everything, Shame!  People of God need to be willing to read, pray, retain, fast, meditate, worship, praise! How can you really thank God without knowing how great He is, aside from your blessings! 

Romans 8:17 NLT And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

Mark 11: 22- 26 NIV “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23“Truly^f I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” [26]

^10-12 And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

^13-18 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is anindispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
