God’s People,
Oftentimes, we are faced with the action of forgiving others. Admittingly, it’s not the easiest subject to talk about but yet it’s a command from Our God. It’s non-negotiable.
Lord, How do you forgive someone when you feel that they feel they’ve done nothing wrong?
The Answer: Forgive, still.
Remember this important fact: You are forgiving them, not for them, but for you.
So, don’t get trapped by the enemy who causes you to hold onto grudges which causes hatred. Instead, practice the command that God spoke, just forgive.
Now, this shouldn’t be a process, but it is. The forgiver must come to a consensus, in their heart and mind, that they want to be obedient to God’s commands, no matter how uncomfortable it seems. Forgiveness allows you heart and mind to remove clutter, which allows God to freely move in our lives.
The next time that you are faced with the task of forgiving, remember to mediate on God’s Words and make a commitment to serving Him, against all odds.
The Great Commandment: “Forgive so you can be forgiven”
The Holy Bible
Post-Script: Forgiveness doesn’t, by any means, mean that you stay in toxic relationships. Rather, it means forgive and learn how to move on! Don’t stay in something that is of no benefit to you.
Today’s Scripture:
Matthew 6:14-15 NIV | New International Version
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
